Melody Jordan-Carr is vice president of membership at ATA.
Prior work experience included working as vice president of member relations at ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership (ASAE), the association for associations. While at ASAE, Jordan-Carr was responsible for member recruitment, engagement, and retention; volunteer management; development and direction of membership initiatives; and exploration of membership strategies. After several years in the newspaper industry, Melody began her association career working in marketing and communications at the National Society of Black Engineers. Other association experience includes her work with the National League of Cities, the Society of American Military Engineers, and the ASAE Foundation. Melody holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a master’s degree in management, concentrating on nonprofit and association management. She serves as a volunteer and board member with local organizations.
